Live Event: Turn Customers Into a Community
Video Coming Soon…
The perfect example of someone turning their passion into a huge business. Tyler is an elite Crossfit athlete that built his Crossfit gym from a small warehouse space into a bustling community of hundreds of evangelists that "embrace the suck" of Crossfit. The gym community he has built is unlike any other I've experienced. The members are on a first name basis, attend regular social events, enjoy monthly gym themes, participate in a vibrant facebook group and more. It would be easy to care more about the pounds than the people but Badger Crossfit stands alone as one of the premier member communities in the Milwaukee Area. Tyler is someone you want to sweat with and learn from. Here is his LinkedIn Profile.
Karyn is the Vice President of Public Relations for Stars & Stripes Honor Flight in Southeastern Wisconsin. If you're unfamiliar with Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, they are the charitable organization every other group wants to become. Run by an all-volunteer board, they fly military Veterans to see their memorials in Washington D.C. The group has raised millions of dollars, had a movie made about their efforts and filled Miller Park for a fundraiser. The personal service they give the Veterans and their families is shared with their donors to make it feel like YOU are the one personally saying "Thanks" to the Veteran. It may seem out of place to have a charity's leader on this panel but trust me, Karyn and the team at Honor Flight are some of the smartest, most dedicated marketers around. When Karyn speaks, take notes. Here is a link to her LinkedIn Profile.
If you were to write a book on customer communities, you'd try to get the story of Harley Davidson's "Harley Owner's Group" (H.O.G.). At this event we will have the guy who created the group on stage. Steve retired from Harley Davidson after a career that included starting H.O.G., overseeing the Harley 100 event, launching the brand experience for Harley's first electric motorcycle and more. C'mon, the guy is in the Sturgis Museum's Hall of Fame for Pete's Sake. Steve now consults brands under his own flag, Authentic CX. Here is his LinkedIn Profile
